About The Three Angels' Chorale

Who are we?
We are young people who love to share the Everlasting Gospel through music.

We believe that our music should be a means of proclaiming the Everlasting Gospel; and that Advent hymns, sacred classics, as well as contemporary sacred songs effectively arranged, can be a source of inspiration and musical fulfillment to both the listener and the performer. In an age of pluralistic musical styles, God expects us not only to use sacred words in our music, but also to maintain a proper balance between melody, harmony, and rhythm.

The Chorale
Over the years chorale members have represented countries from all over the world: Australia, Argentina, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, Colombia, the Czech republic, France, Gabon, India, Jamaica, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, the People’s Republic of China, the Philippines, Romania, South Korea, Thailand, the United Kingdom, the United States of America, Venezuela, and Zimbabwe. Many of them attend or have attended Hartland College.

The chorale has performed on five continents, in eleven languages, and in a variety of settings: airports, restaurants, hospitals, orphanages, schools, churches, prisons, on radio and television, in shopping malls, banks, in public evangelism, retirement centers, nursing homes, in houses of culture, universities, offices, and on the street.

One special feature that has never changed has been the personal testimonies included in nearly all our performances.

The Directors:
Seth Lucas is a vocal instructor and choral director with 14 years of directing experience. He is also a gifted pianist and piano teacher and directs the music minor at Hartland College.

Betsy Mayer has been a choral director and music educator for 24 years.
